Denise is originally from Illinois but currently lives in Texas with her family and a slightly overweight German shepherd.

She has always loved the thought of being a published author, but did not pursue her dream until 2021, when she published Boomerang.

Denise loves all things romantic. Denise writes romantic suspense and contemporary romance novels that showcase positive African American  characters.  She loves complex characters with flaws and those that overcome adversity.  All of her stories have a happy-ever-after ending, that leave you reminiscing about the story long after you've finished reading.
